Job Description:
• Design team member for architectural and/or urban design projects.
• Our studio tries to maintain staff continuity throughout a project.
• Work will include all phases of basic services plus feasibility, site design and pre-design
• Preparation of proposals and marketing materials

Requirements/Preferences:
• Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited university
• Strong verbal and graphic communication skills essential.
• Work Experience in a design office an asset; experience in a professional or studio setting highly desirable.
• Design ability and motivation to execute high quality design essential.
• Previous project experience desirable
• Contract Documents experience desirable
• Strong organizational skills highly desirable.
• Interest in and knowledge of urban design principles an asset.
• Interest in and knowledge of sustainable design principles an asset.
• Motivated, self-starter essential, preferably a quick study.
• Sense of humor

Program Knowledge:
• AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
• 3D Studio Viz
• Microsoft Excel
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Microsoft Office
• Digital image manipulation (Form Z, Rhino, etc.)
• HTML (Dreamweaver, PHP, etc.)
• Ability to use a stylus well (pen, pencil)
